I am delighted to be part of the Central Trust Team alongside my role as Deputy Head Teacher at Fairford Academy Barnehurst.  I lead on Attendance, Safeguarding and Engagement, working closely with parents and other agencies to support our pupils, ensuring all of our children are given the best opportunity to flourish in school through being present, on time and keeping safe.  I am committed to multi-agency working and have really seen the benefit of a joined up approach through my experiences: I have led an alternative provision centre for pupils who have been excluded from school and are some of the most vulnerable in our communities and, at the other end of my career, I was a manager of a nursery, working with children and families at the start of their educational journey. 

I am passionate about my job.  I look forward to coming to work every day because I work with a fantastic team of experts and I see the progress and achievement of our children in their learning.  What always astounds me is the energy in our schools, the joy I see on our children’s faces and the positive feedback we get from our pupils on their experiences with us. Being part of this trust is an honour and I am proud that I have the opportunity to contribute to an organisation where children always come first!
